MKG Electrical were outstanding. The team who handled our solar install were polite, professional, and incredibly tidy. The side of our house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. All cabling has been run through the walls with no visible conduit anywhere — the finish is immaculate. Jacob kept us updated at every stage and delivered a thorough handover of the system and app, including tips on optimising the battery for blackout mode and FiT settings. A genuinely impressive experience from start to finish.

In July 2026, we contacted MGK Electrical for a meter box upgrade,Solar and Battery System installation and for whole of house backup. We are on a rural property in the Blue Mountains and experience regular blackouts and use pumps for running water and for enviro cycle septic. Out of the 3 companies we contacted MGK Electrical was the only company who paid a site visit and then after a discussion provided a comprehensive quote suitable for our requirements with guarantees of work. The team of MGK Electrical employees were courteous, efficient and professional. The new meter box was built in house by MGK Electrical to current standards then installed on site. After installation, the MKG electricians then fault found and fixed any faulty switches and fittings. MGK then removed the old panels and battery, installed the new, then set up the app at the end of installation. After sales service has been second to none with help in using the Sigen app. With the solar and battery system installed by MGK Electrical, our house is easily powered by solar with minimal grid supply on cloudy days. We have now been through 2 blackouts with the whole of house battery backup running our water pumps, fridge freezer and cooktop. To not have a shower by running a generator for water and use candles for light is fantastic. After being disappointed by other companies using contractors and not living up to their promises, MGK Electrical delivered exceptional workmanship, were reliable, and provided superior products with after sales/installation service. What a great company to deal with. Expertise in technical, communication and installation. So refreshing nowadays. We had a selection of 3 Solar battery installers selected from a reputable solar site. MKG were not the cheapest but by far the most reassuring and able to answer all of our technical questions AND there were no pushy sales people. Because of their knowledge I was willing to upgrade to full home backup which required a full rebuild of the switchboard and it went flawlessly. Even when I made a mistake with my new software on the weekend, Rayden (the electrician/installer) was on the phone helping to sort it out. Outstanding. In the current gloomy days where overpriced poor service is commonplace there is a very bright light that shines and its name is MKGElectrical Pty Ltd. Remember that name! This company, without a doubt, is truly exceptional in terms of value, courtesy, helpfulness and expertise. I recently had an EV charger installed and to my delight it made no difference to them it was a relatively small job. They were the first ones to provide and follow through promptly at EVERY stage from quote to installation. The front office was extremely timely and accurate at every stage of my journey. They did NOT try and upsell to me they just did their job and ensured I had a good experience. The technical team were simply exceptional. Probably the best I have to deal with from an Electrical point of view. Very importantly to me they were never late, provided fantastic and accurate advice and did a top job. I could go on and on but these guys are simply the best from my experience. I would recommend them to anybody who needs a job done properly with no shortcuts and to the highest technical level.
